Software Engineer II, Annapurna Labs ML Acceleration System Software

Our talent team is representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization in their search for a Software Engineer II focused on ML acceleration and system software. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge silicon acceleration technology that powers modern cloud computing at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system software for custom ML acceleration hardware
• Build and optimize software stacks that enable high-performance machine learning workloads
• Collaborate with hardware teams to maximize silicon utilization and performance
• Create tools and frameworks that allow customers to leverage specialized compute resources
• Debug complex system-level issues across the hardware-software interface
• Contribute to architectural decisions for next-generation acceleration platforms

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and system-level programming
• Experience with operating systems, device drivers, or embedded systems
• Understanding of computer architecture and hardware-software interaction
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and acceleration concepts is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
