Shopify Manager (m/w/d) – Conversion, Funnel & Shop-Entwicklung

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce client in Berlin seeking a Shopify Manager to take full ownership of their online shop. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete customer journey—from landing page conception through checkout optimization.

• Design and build high-converting landing pages and funnel sequences that guide customers intuitively toward purchase
• Optimize product pages using sales psychology principles, from overall structure to granular details
• Implement upsells, bundles, and trust elements that measurably increase average order value
• Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to inform ongoing optimization efforts
• Monitor conversion rate, customer journey metrics, and order value to identify growth opportunities
• Develop the Shopify theme independently and implement new features directly in code
• Maintain technical excellence across the shop, including load times, performance, and SEO

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Multiple years of hands-on experience with Shopify, including strong understanding of theme architecture and Liquid templating
• Solid HTML and CSS skills enabling you to implement features independently
• Strong marketing and conversion expertise—you understand how high-performing product pages, landing pages, and customer journeys are structured
• Experience with CRO, A/B testing, and heat map analysis
• Data-driven approach to decision-making based on metrics rather than intuition
• Hands-on mentality—you execute rather than wait for others to contribute
• German language proficiency for this Berlin-based role

Nice to have:

• Experience with Klaviyo or comparable email marketing platforms for newsletters and automated flows
