(Senior) Consultant* – SEPA-Payments

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a talented Senior Consultant to join their SEPA-Payments practice. This is a remote position based in Germany, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge payment systems transformation projects.

Our client operates in a dynamic, international environment where you'll contribute to high-impact consulting engagements focused on payment processing modernization and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support challenging consulting projects in the payments domain, covering business analysis, functional design, testing, and implementation oversight
• Apply your experience with SEPA payment standards and processes to deliver client-focused solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Progressively assume greater responsibility throughout project lifecycles, including management of workstreams and small project teams
• Leverage best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in payment systems

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest and demonstrated experience in SEPA-Payments systems and processes
• Working knowledge of SEPA messaging formats (pain, pacs, camt) and key concepts including SCL, STEP2, SCT, SDD, Clearing & Settlement, and R-Transactions
• Team-oriented professional with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to influence stakeholders
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as project needs require
• Relevant consulting or financial services industry experience at Consultant or Senior Consultant level
