(Senior) Consultant* – SEPA-Payments

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a talented SEPA-Payments Consultant to join their team on a remote basis in Germany. Our client is looking for professionals who can combine innovative thinking with deep technical expertise in payment systems to deliver tailored solutions for complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Guide challenging consulting projects within the payments environment, from business analysis and functional design through testing to close implementation support
• Work with strong client orientation, contributing your own experience and insights to deliver value
• Progressively assume greater responsibility for your areas throughout the project lifecycle, advancing to leadership of sub-projects and smaller project teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEPA payment solutions that meet specific client requirements

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest and demonstrable knowledge in SEPA-Payments systems and processes
• Familiarity with SEPA terminology and processes including SCL, STEP2, SCT, SDD, Clearing & Settlement, and R-Transactions
• Understanding of payment message formats (pain, pacs, camt)
• Team-oriented professional with strong analytical and conceptual capabilities
• Proven ability to work constructively with clients and demonstrate assertiveness when needed
• Fluent German and English language skills required
• Unrestricted mobility for national and international travel
