This role is based in the Times Square area of King County and offers the chance to work on cutting-edge machine learning infrastructure that powers large-scale distributed systems.

Our client develops custom silicon and hardware solutions that form the backbone of modern cloud computing. You'll be joining a team that originated from an innovative startup acquisition and now operates at massive scale, building the foundational infrastructure that enables advanced computing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ML infrastructure services that support distributed machine learning workloads
• Build and optimize software systems that interface with custom hardware accelerators and specialized computing instances
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, silicon designers, and software developers to deliver integrated solutions
• Implement monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization tools for ML infrastructure services
• Contribute to the architecture and design of next-generation ML infrastructure platforms
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues and drive resolution

What We're Looking For

• Strong software development experience with proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, or Java
• Experience building and maintaining infrastructure services or distributed systems
• Understanding of machine learning frameworks and workflows
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and scalable service architectures
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams spanning hardware and software disciplines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
