Working Student Full-Stack Software Development (m/f/d)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential aerospace technology client in Bavaria, Germany. They are seeking a working student to join their software development team, focusing on full-stack development and third-party system integration for unmanned aerial platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing computer science or software engineering to gain hands-on experience with modern software architectures, real-time systems, and autonomous technologies.

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party systems and services into the client's software ecosystem
• Perform software validation and testing across the full stack
• Participate in customer exercises and field demonstrations
• Work with engineers and stakeholders to ensure seamless interoperability
• Contribute to improving system integration and operational readiness
• Support development using TypeScript, system-level languages, MAVLink, and gRPC

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable technical field
• Strong programming skills across the full stack
• Proficiency in TypeScript as a core competency
• Experience with Rust, C/C++, or another system-level programming language
• Solid understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
• Familiarity with or strong interest in MAVLink and gRPC communication protocols
• Enthusiasm for autonomous systems and third-party integrations
• Availability for 16–20 hours per week (minimum 16 hours/week)
• Ability to work onsite in Gilching, Bayern
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support field exercises
• Confident communication skills in both English and German
• Self-motivated, hands-on approach with ability to work independently
