About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Fullstack Developer to join their founding team. This is a remote position based in the United States, offering the chance to build core applications from the ground up and work alongside seasoned professionals with a proven track record in taking companies public.

Our client is building AI-powered fintech solutions and needs a driven full-stack developer who can take ownership of features across the entire technology stack. This role offers potential equity participation as the company scales.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of feature development across the entire stack using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and React
• Partner with a small, highly skilled development team, providing guidance and ensuring code quality standards
• Tackle complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to architectural decisions and shape product direction as part of the founding team

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience (70% backend, 30% frontend)
• Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience using Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Proven experience building modern front-end applications with React.js
• Solid experience with SQL databases
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Advanced written and spoken English fluency (C1 or C2 level required)
• Exposure to the fintech industry is highly preferred

Nice to Have:

• Proficiency in Python, including data structures, object-oriented programming, and data manipulation with Pandas
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch) or experience integrating AI capabilities
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and CI/CD pipelines
