SENIOR PRODUCER*IN (m/w/d) AUDIO & VIDEO | OMR PODCAST

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media and podcasting organization in Hamburg seeking a Senior Producer for Audio & Video content. In this role, you will:

• Own the complete technical execution of podcast episodes from studio setup and location shoots (including lighting and recording) through high-end post-production and final upload
• Edit and mix long-format content as well as compelling YouTube intros to maximize watch time, trailers, and particularly short-form content for social media channels—including creating click-worthy thumbnails
• Ensure adherence to established visual and audio standards while continuously optimizing workflows and advancing the format from a production perspective
• Monitor industry trends, provide valuable input to the team, and keep a forward-looking mindset on process and production evolution
• Take full responsibility for raw material management (backup and archiving) and provide technical mentorship to junior colleagues and freelancers

What We're Looking For

• Extensive, multi-year professional experience in audio and video recording as well as high-end post-production
• Demonstrated expertise in video editing of social media Reels for major brands—you immediately recognize the strongest hooks, master dynamic caption animations, and understand how storytelling works across platforms
• Excellent proficiency with standard video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve), technical equipment (cameras, lighting, etc.), and implementation of AI tools; solid knowledge of colour grading required
• Strong skills with audio editing software and an intuitive sense for sound design
• Excellent communication skills, openness, and positive energy when working both with internal teams and high-profile guests
• Highly organized approach to backup management (e.g., Google Drive or NAS) and ability to stay composed during location shoots or spontaneous recording sessions
• Experience in podcast production is a plus but not mandatory
• German language proficiency required for this Hamburg-based position
