US Spanish (esUS) Multimedia Content Reviewer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential localization services organization seeking a US Spanish (esUS) Multimedia Content Reviewer to join their remote team. In this role, you'll serve as a cultural ambassador for Spanish-language content, ensuring the highest quality and cultural relevance for multimedia platforms used by millions.

You'll be writing, translating, and reviewing linguistic content across music, film, gaming, and app store platforms—making sure every word resonates authentically with US Spanish-speaking audiences. This position is ideal for someone passionate about pop culture, media, and the intersection of language and technology.

Responsibilities

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia content including music descriptions, TV/film materials, app store copy, and marketing campaigns while maintaining cultural authenticity
• Write original copy for multimedia products such as streaming services, gaming platforms, and subscription services
• Perform linguistic review and quality assurance of your own work and that of team members across all content types
• Copy-edit and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness
• Conduct localization QA testing on live platforms to verify published content meets quality standards
• Research market-specific trends, terminology, and best practices for US Spanish-speaking audiences
• Transcribe and translate spoken content such as song lyrics
• Create training materials and style guides for new projects and team members
• Collaborate with global language teams to calibrate terminology, share market insights, and maintain consistency

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content (music, TV, applications) with writing samples required
• Native-level proficiency in US Spanish (esUS) with strong written and verbal English fluency
• Proven experience in translation and localization of multimedia content
• Deep knowledge of music artists, TV and cinema, gaming, and pop culture relevant to US Spanish-speaking markets
• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify inconsistencies across large volumes of content
• Strong decision-making skills and confidence in making linguistic choices as a language market owner
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS/macOS systems is a plus
• Comfortable typing in Spanish using an English keyboard
• Ability to work independently and remotely while being collaborative in a multicultural team environment
