Advisory Services Intern

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare performance improvement organization in their search for an Advisory Services Intern. This is a remote opportunity based in the United States where you'll work alongside experienced consultants delivering meaningful impact to healthcare systems nationwide.

As part of our client's advisory team, you'll participate in real client engagements from day one—analyzing data, developing recommendations, creating presentations, and helping implement performance improvements. This isn't a coffee-fetching internship; you'll contribute billable work and build genuine consulting experience in the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis and develop insights to support client engagements (75% of role)
• Execute analyses using statistical tools and advanced Excel; prepare reports and presentation materials
• Interview clients alongside team members to clarify project objectives and document requirements
• Create deliverables that communicate strategy and outcomes for client audiences
• Assist in implementing recommended improvements at healthcare organizations
• Participate in practice development activities and network across the advisory team (15% of role)
• Learn healthcare performance improvement technologies and complete required training (10% of role)
• Deliver project content in a timely manner while maintaining quality standards

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or GED (bachelor's degree preferred)
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and operate computer programs effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:

• Experience or demonstrated interest in healthcare, business, or finance
• Familiarity with statistical tools such as R, Python, SAS, or Matlab
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Tableau or business intelligence tools
• Understanding of Lean Process Improvement or Six Sigma methodologies
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and demonstrate value through independent work
• Awareness of healthcare industry trends and performance improvement practices

Work Environment: Remote position with no travel required. Sedentary work involving computer-based tasks.
