Director of Global Managed Services – EMEA & APAC

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the enterprise collaboration technology sector who is seeking an experienced Director of Global Managed Services to oversee operations across EMEA and APAC regions. This is a permanent, full-time role based in London with hybrid working available.

Our client delivers unified communications, audio-visual solutions, and managed services to enterprise customers worldwide. This senior leadership position will oversee managed onsite services and client service management divisions supporting global enterprise technology estates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of 10 direct reports including Client Service Managers and oversee a managed onsite portfolio of approximately 500 resources across EMEA and APAC
• Drive client retention and growth by establishing best practice standards, team development initiatives, and commercial management including P&L ownership
• Contribute to strategic development of managed services propositions in collaboration with service leadership and technical architecture teams
• Conduct regular performance management sessions, ensuring staff retention and team development through mentoring and coaching
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers at senior levels
• Oversee monthly and regular service review meetings with enterprise customers
• Take full responsibility for contract development, negotiation, and compliance across the entire portfolio
• Develop and report on effective processes, SLAs, and KPIs to manage service delivery
• Oversee implementation of new site onboarding and ensure smooth service transitions
• Work with Service Delivery Managers to scale resources locally and globally in line with demand
• Identify business risks and factors affecting performance, taking proactive steps to resolve issues
• Drive awareness of managed onsite offerings across sales departments

What We're Looking For

• Extensive managed services management experience with proven leadership skills at director or senior management level
• Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of AV managed onsite service contracts
• Experience creating and delivering client presentations to C-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage and work effectively with diverse stakeholders across global organizations
• Ability to influence and gain credibility quickly across different business units
• Highly developed service-focused attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Proven experience working in pressured operational environments with multiple priorities
• Strong organizational skills with excellent scheduling and time management capabilities
• Good working knowledge across audio-visual, unified communications, and collaboration technology disciplines
• Track record of team development, succession planning, and maintaining high team morale

Pay
