E-Mail Designer mit Textkompetenz (m/w/d)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency in Düsseldorf that delivers email campaigns for over 150 e-commerce brands. They send 250 million newsletters annually—that's 8 emails per second—and they need someone who can design those emails and write the copy that drives conversions.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Düsseldorf for a creative professional who can own the entire newsletter process from concept to delivery. You'll manage 30 to 40 brands simultaneously, making design and messaging decisions that directly impact sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build email newsletters from daily briefs using Figma design systems
• Write persuasive copy that supports campaign objectives and drives customer action
• Adapt visual and text content for different brands, each with distinct aesthetics and voice
• Customize graphics and messaging, leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency
• Submit finished newsletters to clients for approval and monitor campaign performance
• Take ownership of the complete creative process without handoffs between departments
• Work with modern AI tools including Claude and ChatGPT as part of your daily workflow

What We're Looking For

• Strong aesthetic judgment and ability to evaluate what works visually
• Excellent copywriting instincts with focus on conversion-oriented messaging
• Extremely fast learner who masters new tools in days, not weeks
• High work capacity and willingness to work at pace in a performance-driven environment
• Comfort with AI tools as standard working instruments
• Ambition and self-motivation with openness to feedback and continuous improvement
• Desire to own complete deliverables, not just isolated tasks
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Düsseldorf with the team
• German language proficiency required for copywriting responsibilities

Note: Prior experience with Figma, newsletter design, or formal design education is not required. The client values talent, speed, and attitude above credentials and will provide training.

Compensation and Benefits

Our client offers €3,500 to €6,000 per month, with the goal of converting successful hires to permanent contracts. Additional benefits include:
