About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential life sciences organization seeking an experienced SAP AATP Lead Consultant to support their transition from legacy availability checking systems to SAP S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise. This role will be based in India and focuses on solution architecture, migration strategy, and integration across order-to-cash and supply chain planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing SAP APO gATP processes and define target solutions in SAP S/4HANA AATP
- Design solutions for availability checking, order confirmation, and related order-to-cash processes
- Develop concepts for Product Allocation (PAL), Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC), Backorder Processing (BOP), and Advanced Scheduling
- Design product and plant substitution strategies and advanced intercompany scenarios
- Define integration requirements between AATP, SAP SD, and supply chain planning processes
- Specify functional requirements for enhancements, including BAdIs and ABAP-based extensions
- Analyze complex ATP and order confirmation issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Create and maintain functional designs, architecture documentation, and solution concepts
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA AATP and SAP APO gATP
- Proven experience with APO gATP to S/4HANA AATP migration or transformation projects
- Deep knowledge of SAP SD and Order-to-Cash processes
- Hands-on experience with Product Allocation, ABC, BOP, Advanced Scheduling, and availability checking functionality
- Solid understanding of supply chain planning and advanced intercompany processes
- Demonstrated ability to design SAP solutions and translate business requirements into functional concepts
- Understanding of SAP enhancement technologies, including BAdIs and ABAP-based enhancements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of planning solutions is an advantage
- Fluent English communication skills
