Operations Supervisor

In this full-time supervisory role, you'll manage team performance, ensure operational excellence, and maintain the highest standards of safety and customer service in the waste management industry.

Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all operations at our facility in Crlsbad. You'll manage a team of operations personnel, ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and performance. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll supervise staff, monitor equipment performance, and manage daily logistics while supporting our commitment to reliability and sustainability.

Core Duties

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring processes run smoothly and safely
• Lead, train, and evaluate operations team members; address performance issues and promote professional development
• Monitor equipment operation and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs
• Enforce all safety, health, and environmental compliance standards; conduct regular safety briefings
• Manage schedules, work assignments, and resource allocation to meet operational targets
• Review operational metrics and reports; identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains
• Communicate with management regarding facility performance, challenges, and recommendations
• Support customer satisfaction by ensuring service quality and response times meet expectations

What You Bring

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, waste management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Experience with equipment operation, maintenance coordination, and logistics planning
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or additional education a plus
