Staff Product Designer, New Business

Warnerbros is looking for a Staff Product Designer, New Business to lead design strategy and execution for emerging business opportunities across our portfolio at one of our 3 Locations. This is a full-time position where you'll shape user experiences that drive growth and engagement at scale.

The Opportunity

As a Staff Product Designer in our New Business division, you'll own design vision and execution for innovative product initiatives spanning new platforms, services, and business models. You'll work at the intersection of strategy and craft—balancing user-centered design with business objectives while mentoring designers and influencing product direction across teams. This role combines hands-on design leadership with the opportunity to define design systems and standards that scale across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for new business products, from discovery and user research through launch and iteration
• Define interaction patterns, information architecture, and design systems aligned with Warnerbros brand and user needs
• Conduct user testing and competitive research to validate design decisions and inform strategy
• Partner with product management and engineering to translate designs into scalable implementations
• Mentor and guide junior designers while fostering design excellence within the team
• Advocate for user experience in cross-functional discussions and business decisions

Requirements

• 8+ years designing consumer-facing digital products with a portfolio demonstrating shipped work
• Mastery of design tools including Figma, Sketch, or equivalent prototyping software
• Strong expertise in user research methodologies and data-informed design decisions
• Experience designing across multiple platforms and devices—web, mobile, streaming, or similar
• Proven ability to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders and development teams
• Experience in entertainment, media, or subscription services preferred
