About This Opportunity
We are representing a national nonprofit healthcare organization in their search for an AI Enablement Manager to join their technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique, hands-on role for someone who can discover AI opportunities across departments, build working solutions, and develop the training that raises AI fluency organization-wide.
Our client operates remotely across the United States and maintains a culture of measurable outcomes and aggressive growth. This role reports to the Director of Data, Analytics and Technology and requires someone who is equal parts builder, coach, and strategic advisor.
Responsibilities
Use Case Discovery & Prioritization
- Embed with teams across the organization to understand workflows, undocumented processes, and manual bottlenecks
- Identify, scope, and prioritize AI and automation opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, adoption potential, and risk
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clearly defined use cases and solution plans
- Exercise judgment about what is worth building—including recommending against AI when a simpler solution exists
Solution Building & Delivery
- Design, build, test, and deploy practical AI-enabled solutions using approved platforms and enterprise data
- Prototype rapidly and iterate based on real user feedback and observed usage
- Build and curate a reusable library of prompts, skills, templates, and workflow components
- Partner with technology colleagues to transition validated prototypes into production-ready solutions
- Document solution requirements, configurations, operating procedures, and expected outcomes
Enablement, Training & Adoption
- Develop and deliver the organization's AI training program—workshops, office hours, self-paced content, and role-specific guidance
- Create and maintain user-facing resources including documentation, quick-start guides, and best practices
- Cultivate a network of AI champions across departments who drive adoption within their teams
- Surface and share wins—quantified time savings, before/after workflows, and lessons learned
- Support change management for new AI tools and ways of working
Governance, Tools & Measurement
- Serve as internal subject matter expert across the evolving AI and automation ecosystem
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and platforms; recommend what to adopt, pilot, or decline
- Partner with finance and contracts colleagues on license administration, provisioning, vendor review, and cost tracking
- Help establish and maintain practical guardrails covering data privacy, sensitive-data handling, appropriate use, and human review
- Define and track success metrics tied to real outcomes: time saved, quality improvements, usage, and adoption
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, technology, internal tools, business process improvement, automation, consulting, or closely related field
- Demonstrated hands-on ability to build with modern AI tooling—LLM platforms such as Claude or ChatGPT, prompt and skill development, agentic workflows, and automation or low-code/no-code platforms
- Proven track record translating ambiguous business needs into practical, working solutions
- Experience developing and delivering training, documentation, or enablement programs that changed how people work
- Comfort working with data from multiple systems, both structured and unstructured
- Fluency with SQL or equivalent to investigate and validate independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Ability to build trust and influence without direct authority across all organizational levels
- Self-directed and highly organized with judgment to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
- Proficiency in AI prompt engineering and critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs
- Foundational understanding of ethical AI implications including data privacy, bias recognition, and responsible use
- Resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges, setbacks, or ambiguity
- Comfort participating in an on-camera culture during remote meetings
Valued But Not Required
- Prior experience in an AI enablement, AI operations, internal tools, or business-embedded technical role
- Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations, including familiarity with PHI and sensitive-data handling
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, Asana, Google Workspace, or Slack
- Working knowledge of APIs, connectors, MCP, or scripting in Python or similar language
- Experience standing up enablement programs, champions networks, or internal knowledge bases
- Experience evaluating vendors and managing software licenses, usage tracking, or cost models
Position Details
- 12-month fixed-term contract with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and organizational need
- Fully remote within the United States
- Up to 20% business travel required (minimum 8 days annually for retreats and team meetings)

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $140,000 to $155,000 annually. This is a fully benefited, full-time position including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) with match, generous time off, parental leave, professional development support, and fitness and cell phone allowances.
