Velera is hiring a Senior Client Delivery Project Manager (Credit Implementations) to lead complex credit implementation projects and guide clients through successful digital transformation. This is a full-time remote position based in the USA.

What This Role Involves

As a senior-level project manager specializing in credit implementations, you'll own end-to-end delivery of high-stakes projects where accuracy and client satisfaction are paramount. You'll serve as the central point of contact for clients navigating credit system deployments, overseeing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring implementations meet both technical and business requirements. Your leadership will bridge the gap between complex credit technology and client expectations, turning implementation challenges into successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle for credit implementation engagements, from planning through go-live and post-launch support
• Lead stakeholder communication with C-suite and operational teams to align on project scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate technical, business, and compliance workstreams to ensure seamless credit system integration
• Identify and mitigate implementation risks, creating contingency plans and escalation protocols
• Track project metrics, budget, and resource allocation against established baselines
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement in delivery methodologies
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness throughout the implementation process

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing credit, lending, or financial services implementations
• Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale, cross-functional technology implementations
• Strong knowledge of credit systems, credit risk management, or lending platforms
• Proven ability to manage executive-level stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
