About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential SaaS organization based in Saarbrücken. We are searching for a Senior Software Developer with strong full-stack capabilities and a passion for AI-assisted development practices. This role offers the opportunity to work on a modern technology stack while helping shape an AI-first engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and improvements across the full stack, working with Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI on the backend and React with TypeScript on the frontend
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor to deliver features faster and more efficiently
- Collaborate closely with development teams and coordinate with product management, UX design, sales, and other stakeholders
- Drive AI-first development culture by exploring new tools, sharing best practices, and integrating AI meaningfully into daily workflows
- Conduct AI-assisted code reviews and support ticket distribution and development process steering
- Maintain technical documentation for the product
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in computer science or a related IT field, or vocational training as an IT specialist in application development
- At least 3 years of relevant full-time professional experience working across backend and frontend development
- Strong experience with Python and backend development using Django and Django REST Framework; FastAPI experience is a plus
- Confident designing and developing REST APIs and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and ORM-based data modeling
- Hands-on experience with React and building single-page applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and ES6; familiarity with Ant Design or Material UI is beneficial
- Routine use of AI-assisted coding tools with the ability to critically assess their output and integrate them into existing workflows
- Eagerness to help shape an AI-first culture by testing new tools and sharing insights with the team
- Appreciation for both remote work flexibility and in-person collaboration with colleagues
