Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential IT services organization seeking an IT Systems Administrator for their Frankfurt am Main location. In this role, you will contribute to the following:

• Ensure stable, secure, and high-performance operation of client IT infrastructures including Microsoft-based workplace environments, server landscapes, cloud platforms, virtualization, and backup systems
• Quickly and sustainably restore service quality during incidents and continuously reduce recurring issues through systematic analysis and root cause resolution
• Ensure efficient collaboration between service desk, system engineering, and other departments to maintain smooth operations and high client satisfaction
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client IT contacts and colleagues, providing professional and solution-oriented support both remotely and on-site
• Assume operational responsibility for newly implemented client environments and ensure successful transition from project phase to regular operations
• Identify and implement optimization opportunities in client infrastructures and internal processes to continuously improve efficiency, service quality, and scalability
• Contribute to high service quality through proactive action, independent task prioritization, and solution-oriented approach to technical challenges

• Solid experience with Microsoft server and client systems, moving confidently as an IT generalist in both traditional and modern IT environments including Active Directory, Group Policies, and Azure or cloud services
• Experience with backup solutions and understanding of reliable data protection concepts
• Ideally, initial experience with network and security topics such as firewalls, routers, and switches
• Clear and confident communication in German, both written and verbal, with clients and team members
• Structured work approach with ability to organize independently and set proper priorities even when managing multiple topics simultaneously
• Initiative, accountability for your work areas, and team player mentality with valid driver's license (Class B) for flexible deployment
