Junior IT-Supporter (m/w/d) – 1st/2nd Level

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential technology organization in Weißensberg seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to join their five-person internal IT team. In this role, you will serve as a central point of contact for colleagues across departments, providing first and second-level technical support.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing IT support and ensuring infrastructure stability as the primary on-site contact for all IT inquiries
• Supporting Microsoft client systems, telecommunications equipment, printers, and desktop computers
• Managing the ticket system: receiving, classifying, and independently resolving incident and request tickets for both hardware and software issues
• Maintaining documentation within the ticketing system and creating technical documentation and user guides
• Managing hardware lifecycle activities including workstation setup and teardown, preparing and installing client systems, and administering IT asset management (distribution and returns)
• Handling inventory tasks such as ordering hardware, warehouse management, material control, and coordinating disposal
• Conducting material inspections alongside specialist departments and supporting technicians with maintenance work

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational or academic training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable training (career changers welcome)
• Initial experience in IT support or IT service roles
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, and Microsoft software environments
• Strong team collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities
• Conscientious, structured, and independent working style with a strong service and advisory orientation
• Willingness to work on-site to serve as the primary IT contact person for colleagues
• German language proficiency required for this role
