Senior Manager, FP&A

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Manager, FP&A. This is a fully remote role where you will serve as the finance business partner to either the Corporate or Go-to-Market organization. You will own P&L responsibility, build driver-based financial models, and partner directly with senior leadership on critical investment decisions, headcount planning, and unit economics. You will also manage and develop a Senior Financial Analyst while working alongside other FP&A leads in a growing, global finance team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance partner to senior leadership, supporting decisions on hiring, investment prioritization, and resource allocation
• Own P&Ls end to end including budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and executive-level narrative reporting
• Build and continuously improve driver-based financial models for long-range planning, bookings forecasts, and ad hoc strategic analyses
• Lead planning cadences across annual, quarterly, and monthly cycles, integrating inputs from business partners into corporate forecasts
• Manage and develop one Senior Financial Analyst, setting priorities and elevating the quality and speed of financial analysis
• Own administration and maintenance of the Adaptive Planning platform and drive AI-augmented workflows to scale FP&A operations

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, including direct partnership with C-level executives and/or CRO/CMO
• Direct people management experience—you have hired, coached, and managed the performance of finance team members
• Deep fluency in SaaS cost structures and unit economics, including cloud/hosting costs, CoGS vs. OpEx, and gross margin drivers
• Proven driver-based modeling skills, forecasting from usage and consumption drivers rather than simply trending actuals
• Hands-on experience building models in an enterprise planning platform such as Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, or Planful
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to executive audiences
• Autonomous work style with focus, integrity, and humility

Preferred qualifications:

• Specific experience with Adaptive Planning (you will own the instance)
• Salesforce experience
• Experience using AI tools to automate finance workflows
