About This Opportunity

We're seeking a Legal Counsel to join their expanding legal department in Ukraine. This role offers exposure to multi-jurisdictional legal matters spanning North America, Europe, Canada, and Australia, with emphasis on product compliance, marketing regulations, consumer protection, and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities
- Research and analyze potential legal risks across multiple jurisdictions, with primary focus on North America and European markets
- Implement and maintain legal compliance frameworks across business operations including marketing activities, payment processing, consumer rights, and product development
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, internal policies, and other legal documentation
- Develop and execute legal education initiatives to raise awareness of regulatory requirements across business teams
- Design and implement legal processes that deliver positive ROI while effectively managing organizational risk
- Serve as primary legal liaison with business partners, external law firms, and service providers across various jurisdictions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent English with demonstrated legal drafting capability
- 3-4+ years of relevant legal experience with an international law firm, top-tier domestic firm, or technology product company
- Proactive and self-directed approach with willingness to tackle diverse legal matters
- Creative problem-solving skills for complex legal challenges
- Results-oriented mindset with strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical business solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all professional levels
Preferred Experience:
- Expertise in consumer protection regulations in the USA and EU (FTC Act, ROSCA, OMNIBUS Directive, and similar frameworks)
- Experience advising companies through full business lifecycle matters including compliance and intellectual property
