Senior Product Owner

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead product vision and roadmap execution for their Agile delivery teams. This is a fully remote position based in the United States, offering the opportunity to maximize product value while working on legacy modernization and complex framework projects.

As the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, you'll define user stories, prioritize product backlogs, and ensure the right products are built in the right order, within budget and on deadline. This role involves moderately complex to complex analysis where in-depth evaluation of variable factors is essential.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product backlog items to ensure alignment with organizational goals and customer needs
• Develop deep understanding of customer needs and performance metrics to inform product decisions and maximize value delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality products meeting customer requirements
• Write well-crafted user stories that are clear, concise, and capture requirements from the end user's perspective
• Inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration, ensuring continuous improvement
• Develop product roadmaps, release plans, and go-to-market strategies
• Serve as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on a development team as a product and/or process owner
• Minimum 2 years of experience working on user acceptance testing
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with ADO or Jira Align
• Reliable home internet connection with minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
• Dedicated workspace free from ongoing interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree
• Agile experience and certification in SAFe Agile or Project Management
• Experience in claims adjudication/audit processes
• Experience working with large datasets utilizing platforms such as Power BI
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Professional experience working with various AI technology platforms

Additional Details: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to office locations for training or meetings may be required. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) and eligible for bonus incentive opportunities based on company and individual performance.
