About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading social media and digital content agency in the DACH region. Our client operates multiple studios and serves globally recognized brands across lifestyle, consumer goods, and technology sectors. Through our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're seeking a Senior Motion & VFX Designer to join their creative production environment in Berlin.

Responsibilities

• Develop and animate video advertisements and social media formats in After Effects, from typography animation to complex multi-layered compositions, and finalize them in Premiere Pro with commercial-grade editing
• Combine filmed footage with generated elements through advanced compositing techniques including rotoscoping, tracking, and keying to achieve seamless integration
• Deploy generative tools strategically where they enhance quality or efficiency, while understanding their limitations regarding consistency, typography, and brand representation
• Build and optimize workflows for integrating AI and generative technologies into production pipelines
• Share knowledge with team members by introducing new techniques, tools, and workflows, and provide hands-on guidance on their implementation
• Collaborate closely with performance, creative, and production teams, providing early feedback when briefs require adjustment or alternative approaches

What We're Looking For

• Several years of senior-level experience as a Motion Designer with expert-level After Effects skills including complex animations, keyframing, expressions, and typography animation
• Professional compositing capabilities as core competency: rotoscopy, tracking, keying, and clean integration of generated or filmed elements into footage
• Confident editing skills in Premiere Pro with strong sense of timing and dramaturgy for advertising formats
• Demonstrable experience with one to three real projects utilizing generative video or image tools, or AI-assisted compositing workflows (portfolio review required)
• Proactive mindset with willingness to share knowledge and drive improvements without waiting for direction
• Fluent German and good English language skills
• Bonus qualifications: 3D experience in Blender or Cinema 4D, color grading in DaVinci or Lumetri, sound design fundamentals
