Relationship Executive

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare charity organization in their search for a Relationship Executive. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, home-based role for candidates located in the South of England and Wales region. You must be eligible to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This role sits within the regional fundraising team, where you'll manage relationships with individual supporters, fundraising groups, and corporate partners. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service—primarily by phone—to maximize supporter engagement and identify opportunities for deeper relationships across the organization's mission.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing contact for low-to-mid value supporter relationships, including individuals, fundraising groups, and corporate organizations
• Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and mail to support active fundraisers
• Deliver timely supporter contact, recognition, and provision of fundraising materials as needed
• Identify supporters with high-value potential or specific stewardship needs and transition them to senior Relationship Managers
• Maintain accurate supporter records in CRM systems and manage associated pipelines
• Handle compliance enquiries to ensure supporters meet Fundraising Regulator and Charity Commission requirements and operate according to Institute of Fundraising best practice

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience delivering excellent customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others, predominantly over the phone
• Active listening skills and the ability to build valuable supporter relationships
• Excellent organization and time management capabilities
• Confidence in solving straightforward problems with colleague support and guidance
• Experience building internal networks for collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency entering and managing data in database systems
• Understanding of the fundraising or charity/voluntary sector
• Willingness to work flexibly and travel for internal meetings (approximately twice per year)
• Suitable home office space

Pay

The client offers £24,785–£28,000 plus benefits for this position.
