Business Development Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential sustainable building organization in their search for a Business Development Representative. This remote role focuses on generating and converting leads for energy-efficient housing solutions and partner network expansion. Our talent team is seeking a driven sales professional with at least 5 years of high-performance business development experience to drive subscription growth and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Contact and pursue both inbound and outbound leads to promote subscription services and sustainable housing solutions
• Develop strategic partner channels to expand market reach and sales opportunities
• Execute outbound prospecting campaigns to recruit new franchise partners
• Follow up on leads multiple times through phone and email to optimize conversion rates
• Meet and exceed assigned targets and KPIs consistently
• Design and implement proactive business development activities to surpass performance goals
• Research markets within assigned territories to identify prospects and conduct cold outreach
• Maintain comprehensive sales data and pipeline health in HubSpot CRM
• Process and organize customer account documentation throughout the sales cycle
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with builders, partners, and clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and implementation
• Stay current on all product offerings and continuously improve product knowledge
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across all channels
• Contribute to business strategy improvements and identify new growth opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-performance sales and business development with proven ability to generate and close opportunities proactively
• HubSpot experience required – must be proficient in CRM management and pipeline tracking
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong interpersonal abilities with talent for building rapport and establishing long-term client relationships
• Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative team player who coordinates effectively with cross-functional groups
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation capabilities

• Discipline and reliability for structured remote work environment
• Availability for fixed shift hours (not flexible freelance arrangement)
