Technical Product Owner (m/w/d)

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential logistics technology organization with operations across Europe. They are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join their Hamburg-based product team and take ownership of critical platform integrations and APIs.

In this role, you'll bridge the gap between product, engineering, and business stakeholders, working on customer-facing APIs, carrier integrations, and financial platform components. You'll collaborate with product owners, software engineers, data teams, and external partners to ensure reliable, evolving technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and strategically develop the roadmap for customer APIs across platform generations
• Drive API customer migration initiatives, identifying required features and carrier integrations
• Serve as technical point of contact for API customers, supporting issue analysis and resolution
• Lead the evolution of unified carrier interface solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze carrier feature and service requirements, preparing specifications for engineering and supporting QA test case definition
• Communicate directly with carriers to clarify technical requirements and integration specifics
• Take ownership of financial platform components post-launch, managing backlog and development priorities
• Oversee CRM integration maintenance, prioritizing adjustments based on business requirements and feedback
• Facilitate collaboration among engineering, business stakeholders, carriers, and external partners to ensure clear requirements and decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Technical background in software engineering, computer science, or several years working at the product-engineering interface
• Proven experience as Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally with APIs, platforms, or technical integrations
• Strong understanding of API design, versioning, and migration strategies with ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholder audiences
• Confident stakeholder management skills with experience balancing technical and business requirements
• Comfort managing multiple parallel workstreams and shifting priorities while maintaining clear focus
• Collaborative mindset for working across locations (Hamburg and international offices)
• Interest in AI tools and digital solutions to optimize processes and workflows
• Experience in logistics, parcel, or freight technology with carrier API integrations is a plus
• Knowledge of CRM integrations or financial/invoicing systems is advantageous
• German and English language proficiency required
