Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential energy infrastructure organization based in Bergisch Gladbach. Our client operates modern commercial and industrial networks with a focus on smart, sustainable solutions. This Controller position offers direct collaboration with finance leadership and executive management in shaping critical business decisions.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Budget planning, forecasting, and medium-term financial planning
• Economic feasibility studies and investment calculations
• Controlling and financial oversight of network infrastructure operations
• Analysis of energy sector key performance indicators
• Management reporting and KPI-driven steering
• Digitalization and automation of reporting processes
• Preparation of decision documents for management and executive leadership

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in controlling functions
• Experience in the energy sector, network operations, or utilities is highly desirable
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
• Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous
• Analytical mindset with ability to work independently
• Experience with AI tools is a plus
• German language proficiency required for this role
