Senior Project Developer (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential real estate development organization in Berlin that is seeking a Senior Project Developer to lead complex commercial and residential projects from conception through approval planning. Our talent team is working exclusively with this client to identify experienced professionals who can manage the full development lifecycle, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and navigate municipal approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project development cycle and coordinate external service providers including architects and specialist planners through approval planning stages
• Conduct site assessments and prepare feasibility studies, area planning, and cost estimates for commercial and residential projects
• Lead negotiations with municipal authorities, urban planning agencies, and community stakeholders
• Support urban planning workshop procedures and architectural competition processes
• Oversee zoning plan (B-plan) procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage negotiations for urban development contracts and supervise neighborhood agreements
• Handle internal and external project reporting and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Degree in architecture, civil engineering, real estate management, urban planning, or comparable qualification in property or housing management
• Several years of professional experience developing commercial and residential construction projects and building land development
• Demonstrated experience leading project teams through complex development cycles
• Strong communication abilities with proven assertiveness and negotiation skills
• Legal knowledge of the real estate industry is advantageous
• Fluency in German required for municipal negotiations and regulatory processes; English proficiency preferred

Pay
