IT Infrastruktur Admin & Project Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential technology organization in Wetzlar seeking an IT Infrastructure Admin & Project Manager. In this role, you will:

• Administer, maintain, and develop IT infrastructure including servers, networks, telecommunications, and collaboration systems
• Ensure stable, secure, and high-performance IT operations while analyzing and resolving system and network issues
• Implement and continuously enhance IT security measures according to enterprise standards
• Support Microsoft 365 and collaboration solutions in close coordination with international specialist teams
• Plan, lead, and contribute to local and global IT infrastructure projects including project management, budget oversight, and timeline monitoring
• Manage user lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, role assignment, and access permissions
• Provide second-level support for end devices, telephony, printers, scanners, and video conferencing systems
• Oversee complete device lifecycle from provisioning through decommissioning
• Manage software licenses and ensure license compliance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, centers of excellence, external service providers, and partners
• Create and maintain technical and project-related documentation
• Ensure compliance with IT group standards, architecture guidelines, and strategic directives

What We're Looking For

• 3-year completed vocational training in a relevant field plus at least 2 years of specialized technical training
• Proven experience in project work and project management
• Strong experience with collaboration solutions (preferably M365) and virtualization platforms such as VMware
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN, switches and routers, telephony solutions, IP phones, and cybersecurity tools
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and team collaboration skills
• Fluent German and very good English language skills required
