Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive dealership in Darmstadt seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join their team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, the workshop, and the service team, ensuring exceptional customer experience from appointment scheduling through vehicle delivery.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Providing expert consultation and support to service customers in person and by telephone
• Managing vehicle intake and return processes with professionalism and attention to detail
• Creating workshop orders and accurately documenting customer concerns and requests
• Conducting vehicle acceptance inspections and dialogue-based intake procedures
• Assessing repair and maintenance requirements through technical evaluation
• Preparing and explaining cost estimates to customers clearly and transparently
• Selling service packages, repair work, accessories, and additional services
• Coordinating repair orders with automotive mechatronics technicians and workshop management
• Monitoring repair progress and proactively updating customers on status
• Coordinating additional work and necessary repairs as they arise
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction and maintaining professional service quality standards
• Processing warranty, guarantee, and goodwill cases according to established procedures
• Conducting test drives and vehicle inspections as needed
• Supporting continuous improvement of service processes and customer satisfaction initiatives

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks candidates with the following qualifications:

• Completed technical apprenticeship in the automotive sector, ideally as an automotive mechatronics technician
• Additional qualification as a Service Advisor, Master Technician, or comparable certification is highly desirable
• Previous experience in the service department of an automotive dealership is advantageous
• Strong technical understanding combined with genuine enthusiasm for customer consultation
• Pronounced customer and service orientation with a commitment to excellence
• Confident and friendly professional demeanor in all customer interactions
• Excellent communication skills and proven negotiation abilities
• Strong organizational talents and ability to work independently
• Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
• Proficient use of common IT systems and MS Office applications
• Valid Class B driver's license
