About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization in Germany seeking a Senior Specialist for Enterprise-Wide Bank Management at their Straubing location. Our client is an established specialty credit institution with over 50 years of growth and regional presence.

This role offers significant professional development, including a clear pathway to team leadership of an 8-person reporting and accounting team. You'll work closely with senior management, driving strategic decisions through sophisticated risk and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and interpret complex management-relevant analyses and reports for enterprise-wide bank steering
• Derive well-founded recommendations for executive leadership based on analytical insights
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the overall risk profile and its integration into bank-wide management systems
• Participate in cross-functional strategic projects
• Advance methodologies and processes within the management control environment
• Critically analyze and validate existing risk measurement methods
• Progress toward team leadership responsibilities for an 8-person reporting and accounting team

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed banking qualification with relevant advanced training, or degree in Economics, Financial Mathematics, Business Informatics, or comparable field
• Several years of relevant professional experience in enterprise-wide bank management, risk controlling, or comparable function in the financial services sector
• Deep understanding of banking management mechanisms and regulatory requirements (e.g., MaRisk, Basel III/IV)
• Ideally strong knowledge of banking supervisory reporting, German commercial and tax law, and RechKredV
• Leadership experience desirable
• German language proficiency required for regulatory and reporting work
