Founding Marketer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential short-term rental technology client in Berlin who is seeking their first dedicated content and brand professional. You will report directly to the founding team and own the complete creative process from concept to publication.

In this role, you will:

• Design and execute the full creative workflow across video, written content, and social media formats
• Develop and manage your own publishing schedule and content systems that can scale across multiple markets
• Produce founder-led content as well as original brand content, handling shooting, editing, and design work independently
• Track performance metrics, eliminate underperforming content, and amplify what resonates with the audience
• Build the foundational content engine that will define the company's market presence

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone with demonstrated creative range who operates with a founder mentality. The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience growing an organic audience or brand presence, with measurable results to demonstrate impact
• Possess hands-on production skills: writing scroll-stopping hooks, shooting and editing video, and creating graphics without external dependencies
• Be a native German speaker with strong cultural fluency in the DACH market
• Show exceptional creative judgment and understand what content will engage audiences versus what falls flat
• Thrive in ambiguity and prefer building systems from scratch rather than inheriting established processes
• Have genuine interest in progressing into leadership roles such as Head of Content, Brand, or Growth

This role is not suitable for candidates who prefer structured 9-to-5 environments, require fully defined strategies and calendars, or want to focus only on strategic work without hands-on execution.

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Berlin market. The client also offers equity participation through a VSOP program.
