About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential precision manufacturing organization in Nersingen that specializes in complex aluminum casting components for international clients in machinery, automotive, and aerospace sectors. Our talent team is seeking a skilled designer and project planner to join their project engineering department.
This role combines 3D design work with technical project coordination, offering the opportunity to work on sophisticated industrial components in a collaborative environment with flat hierarchies and clear career development paths.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D designs using SolidWorks for aluminum casting projects
- Support technical development and implementation of customer requirements
- Prepare and review technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Apply technical standards, norms, and tolerances to design specifications
- Evaluate technical requirements and drawing specifications from clients
- Prepare technical quotations and proposals for customer inquiries
- Support cost estimation and technical assessment of new projects
- Coordinate technical and commercial requirements across departments
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, and business partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, and technical departments
What We're Looking For
- Completed technical education or comparable qualification as Technical Product Designer, Design Engineer, or similar technical training
- Strong proficiency in 3D design using SolidWorks
- Solid understanding of technical drawings, engineering standards, and tolerances
- German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Basic knowledge of casting processes is advantageous but not required
- Independent and structured working style
- Technical aptitude, strong teamwork abilities, and communication skills
