Regional Account Manager – Public Sector

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital forensics software organization in their search for a Regional Account Manager - Public Sector based in Germany. Our client is a global leader serving law enforcement and government organizations worldwide, and this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in supporting digital investigations that protect communities and national security.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual and quarterly account growth and customer success plans for existing government and law enforcement clients
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across public sector organizations
• Drive customer retention and identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell within your account portfolio
• Conduct regular business reviews and customer success discussions to understand evolving investigative needs
• Prepare and deliver customer presentations, solution overviews, and value-based discussions
• Coordinate and support product evaluations, upgrades, and adoption initiatives
• Manage quotations, renewals, and commercial processes accurately
• Maintain complete records of all customer engagements and opportunities within CRM systems
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Technical Specialists, and Marketing teams to ensure outstanding outcomes
• Serve as a strategic advisor helping customers achieve operational objectives through effective use of solutions
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback to product and leadership teams
• Travel approximately 25% of the time within your territory

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing and growing customer relationships in a software, technology, or services environment
• Strong consultative communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive customer retention, expansion, and long-term account growth
• Ability to understand customer challenges and align solutions to business outcomes
• Experience working with law enforcement or in digital forensics is highly valued but not required
• Fluency in German and English required
• Comfortable with a hybrid-flexible work arrangement, occasionally visiting the office (frequency depends on team needs, typically weekly to monthly)
