AI Filmmaker Team Lead

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential entertainment production client seeking an AI Filmmaker Team Lead for a remote opportunity based in Brazil. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) with strong potential to transition into full-time for the right candidate.

Our client operates in the visual storytelling space and is building a cutting-edge production capability that combines traditional filmmaking expertise with emerging AI video generation tools. You'll start as an individual contributor owning end-to-end production, then grow into a leadership position overseeing generators and workflows across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Apply a director's mindset to interpret scripts and translate them into visual outputs
• Structure scenes into organized shot sequences including wide shots, medium shots, close-ups, transitions, and pacing decisions
• Use AI video generation tools through structured prompting to create narrative content
• Edit and assemble clips into cohesive, story-driven final content
• Refine outputs for narrative clarity, pacing, visual consistency, and emotional continuity
• Experiment with different AI models and workflows to achieve varied visual styles
• Optimize production workflows for scalability, consistency, and efficiency
• Train and guide AI generators and team members as the operation scales

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven cinematic narrative filmmaking experience
• Hands-on professional experience with advanced video tools including AI video generation models such as Runway ML, Sora, Higgsfield, Kling, or similar platforms
• Proficiency in post-production software such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid, or similar
• Strong understanding of storytelling, shot composition, pacing, and cinematic structure
• Experience translating scripts into visual outputs using prompting and creative direction
• Strong English communication skills (C1/C2 level)
• Ability to independently manage full production workflows from generation to final delivery
• Availability during U.S. Pacific Time business hours

Highly Preferred:

• Experience working with animation, comic, anime, or entertainment-related projects
