Category Management Werkstudent (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential online grocery organization seeking a Category Management working student to support their operations across multiple regions in Germany.

In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the category team, ensuring digital shelves are optimally stocked and maintained. Your core responsibilities include:

• Product Creation and Onboarding: Create and set up new products in the system, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and customer-ready from day one.
• Tool Support and Validation: Support the implementation and usage of automation tools, critically reviewing processes and validating system outputs for quality assurance.
• Product Performance Monitoring: Track sales and inventory anomalies, investigating when high-priority items show poor performance or availability issues to maximize digital shelf revenue.
• Content and Storefront Optimization: Respond quickly to incomplete product presentations that hinder sales by resolving missing product photos or incomplete item information in the app.
• Supply Chain and Inbound Coordination: Support the team with daily commercial supply chain questions and resolve product delivery issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Team Collaboration: Provide strong operational support across various priority levels, working closely with category, brand, and cross-functional teams to balance daily tasks effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a comparable field of study.
• Sharp attention to detail, strong logical thinking skills, and natural curiosity to investigate operational challenges.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a proactive attitude toward taking ownership of daily workflows.
• Genuine affinity for the food industry and enthusiasm for working with new software and automated systems.
• Availability to support the team for 16-20 hours per week.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
