About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing confidential GreenTech organization in Hamburg that is developing innovative renewable energy infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work as a maintenance technician on pioneering technology in the sustainable energy sector.

As a working student maintenance technician, you will provide technical support for an operational renewable energy installation in Hamburg. You will ensure reliable operation, perform maintenance and repairs, and systematically troubleshoot technical issues. Because this technology is new, you will actively help shape how maintenance, service, and upkeep processes are built from the ground up. Your hands-on experience will directly influence the development of future service protocols.

This is a part-time position offering 20 to 30 hours per week with flexible scheduling that accommodates student commitments. You will work independently with significant responsibility for the technical care of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the facility across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems including hydraulic oil maintenance
• Analyze technical problems, resolve faults, and document both solutions and root causes
• Create and develop maintenance schedules, spare parts lists, and technical service documentation
• Manage on-site spare parts inventory and ensure structured parts administration
• Contribute to building maintenance plans and service processes for this developing technology

What We're Looking For

• Technical background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or comparable technical training
• Practical experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of technical installations
• Solid understanding of hydraulic systems and ability to independently grasp technical relationships
• Availability for 20 to 30 hours per week with flexibility for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work when operational windows permit
• Comfort working directly with equipment outdoors in an active traffic and logistics environment
• Self-reliant work style with ability to take responsibility and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to read technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams is advantageous
• German language skills required for this Hamburg-based role
