(Senior) Finance Manager (gn) – Media & Marketing

We are representing a confidential media and marketing organization in Berlin that is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering significant responsibility and direct access to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
• Create management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts
• Manage cashflow and working capital
• Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS-compliant processes
• Serve as the primary contact for management, auditors, and external partners
• Analyze profitability and overall economic performance
• Optimize existing finance processes and workflows
• Lead and develop a small finance team

What We're Looking For

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or university degree in Economics, Business Administration, or comparable qualification with focus on accounting/finance
• Several years of experience in finance or accounting environments
• Strong knowledge of HGB (German GAAP); IFRS experience is advantageous
• Proven experience with financial statements, reporting, and forecasting
• Proficient use of Excel and common ERP systems
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical working style
• International business experience is a plus
• Very good English language skills
• Independent, hands-on approach to work
