Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization in the Braunschweig area seeking a Human Resources Specialist to build and develop their HR function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape people operations in a growing technical environment.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading full-cycle recruiting from workforce planning through onboarding, working closely with leadership to anticipate hiring needs and define requirements
• Developing and executing recruiting strategies across multiple channels to reach diverse candidate pools, particularly for technical and production roles
• Serving as primary HR contact for employees, addressing concerns independently and maintaining follow-through on all people matters
• Building HR infrastructure, implementing practical digital solutions, and establishing sustainable processes and standards
• Identifying employee development opportunities, initiating appropriate training programs, and refining existing development tools
• Advising management on HR matters, providing strategic options and clear recommendations
• Fostering a culture of appreciation, trust, and constructive feedback throughout the organization

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone who can both execute tactical recruiting and build strategic HR capabilities:

• Completed degree with HR or personnel management focus
• Minimum 2 years hands-on recruiting experience, ideally in manufacturing or production environments
• Structured, accountable approach with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels, maintaining professionalism in difficult conversations
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with ability to remain effective even when facing resistance
• Curiosity and openness to new approaches, digital tools, and emerging technologies including AI
• German language proficiency required for this role
• Willingness to work on-site in the Braunschweig area with flexible arrangements possible

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) offering 30 days annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for professional development through targeted training and external coaching as you grow into new HR domains.

Pay
