About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology services organization seeking a Senior Software Application Engineer for future projects in Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on developing and maintaining complex enterprise applications while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain medium to high-complexity software applications
- Execute build, deployment, and implementation processes for technology solutions
- Design technical solutions according to project requirements
- Program, configure, and test applications and architectural components
- Identify and resolve defects and performance issues
- Collaborate with Business Analysis teams to understand requirements and use cases
- Provide effort estimates for assigned projects and features
- Implement and manage QAT/UAT testing environments
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards
- Maintain integrity of development, testing, and pre-production environments
- Lead automation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical support and mentorship to less experienced professionals
What We're Looking For
Required Education:
- University degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (required - candidates without a professional university degree will not be considered)
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 4-6 years of experience in software development
- Proven experience in programming, testing, implementation, and support of enterprise applications
- Knowledge of software architecture, application integration, and databases
- Experience with version control, continuous integration (CI/CD), and agile methodologies
- Experience leading technical initiatives or medium-to-high complexity projects is desirable
