Senior Product Manager – Human AI Collaboration (all genders)

About This Role

We are representing a confidential AI software organization based in Germany that is building foundational collaboration technology. They need a Senior Product Manager to own one of four core product disciplines: how their system understands humans and adapts its collaboration patterns in professional contexts.

This is not a traditional product role executing roadmaps. You will define how an AI system elicits expert knowledge, decides when to ask or wait, and models situational context—not personality traits. You'll work directly with leadership and engineering as an intellectual owner of your discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise knowledge elicitation: how the system interviews experts, asks follow-up questions, reconstructs decisions, and surfaces tacit knowledge
• Design adaptive collaboration patterns: determine when the system should ask, explain, interrupt, remind, wait, or deliberately refrain from inference
• Model collaboration conditions based on situation, authority, expertise, timing, and necessary friction—not fixed user characteristics
• Establish integrity boundaries: what the product may legitimately learn about a person in context versus what must remain unmodeled
• Challenge technical leadership on questions within your pillar as one of four intellectual owners
• Translate deep conceptual thinking into measurable, useful product behavior
• Build toward leading a small team, starting as a strong individual contributor

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• Background in AI product management, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, knowledge engineering, learning sciences, human factors, behavioral design, or enterprise software
• Exceptional product judgment and experimental thinking
• Ability to think in situations, decisions, authority, expertise, and conditions—not fixed user traits
• Real ethical restraint: knowing when a system should not infer something, even if technically possible
• Skill translating complex thinking into measurable product behavior
• Fluent English (C1–C2)

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience building early-stage products or working in startup environments
• Prior work with technical or expert users in professional contexts
• Familiarity with enterprise software
• Hands-on mindset with technical skills to prototype and implement smaller features independently
