Our talent team is representing a confidential cryptocurrency exchange in their search for a Senior Android Developer based in Singapore or Taiwan. Responsibilities

• Design and implement new user-facing features for global-scale Android applications serving millions of active users
• Deliver high-performance, stable, and efficient code with excellent user experience and thoughtful design
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features at scale
• Integrate and optimize third-party data sources and APIs to ensure accurate real-time performance
• Write and execute comprehensive unit tests covering edge cases to ensure robustness and reliability
• Troubleshoot critical issues, fix bugs, and continuously improve application performance metrics
• Participate in technical, architectural, and product discussions that shape both immediate execution and long-term platform vision

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Android development experience with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong command of Kotlin and Java with solid object-oriented programming principles
• Deep knowledge of Android system architecture, component lifecycle, and UI rendering pipeline
• Proficiency with Jetpack components (ViewModel, Room, LiveData, etc.), Retrofit, and OkHttp
• Hands-on experience with MVVM or MVI architecture patterns and modular application structure on large-scale projects
• Proven track record in performance optimization: memory management, layout efficiency, battery consumption, and cold-start improvements
• Skilled with profiling and debugging tools including Android Profiler, Systrace, Perfetto, and LeakCanary
• Experience working with WebSocket connections and real-time data streams, ideally in high-concurrency or low-latency scenarios
• Bonus qualifications: Flutter or Jetpack Compose experience, large-scale app architecture or refactoring projects, or background in cryptocurrency exchange platforms
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong communication and teamwork skills
