Senior Director/ (Executive Director) US Business Operations and Analytics

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential biopharmaceutical organization seeking a Senior Director of US Business Operations and Analytics to lead operational planning and execution across their US commercial footprint.

In this role, you will:

• Create and coordinate the US operational plan, aligning brand, financial, and people priorities with global and cross-functional teams
• Lead planning and execution of key deliverables including budgets, business reviews, and brand plans while ensuring communication and alignment across functions
• Design and maintain performance management frameworks with clear KPIs, accountability, and visibility into business drivers
• Lead US forecasting processes, coordinating input and activities across US and global functions
• Design and execute US leadership dashboards and reports, providing forward-looking insights on performance drivers, execution risks, and structural constraints
• Lead US business and brand analytics for in-line and launch products, focusing on actionable insights that drive decision-making
• Partner closely with marketing to execute market research strategy, situational analysis, and landscape assessments to inform brand strategy
• Collaborate with field leadership to ensure analytical support for data sources, reports, KPIs, incentive plans, account planning, and alignment
• Interface with global teams to provide US input into global plans, commercial development, pipeline activities, and forecasting
• Lead and develop high-performing operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Manage budget and resource utilization effectively

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 7+ years of US biotech/pharmaceutical and/or consulting experience
• Significant oncology, cellular therapy, and/or rare disease experience
• Proven experience managing and delivering on operational budgets
• Experience with field effectiveness and excellence
• Strong leadership experience working with and managing cross-functional teams

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Finance, Economics, or Business (Graduate degree or MBA preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with experience in healthcare secondary audit data applications, patient-level data applications, and market research
• Deep understanding of US sales and marketing systems, processes, and trends
• Ability to communicate complex concepts successfully to diverse audiences
• Proven organizational skills with ability to manage multiple urgent priorities simultaneously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced PowerPoint and Excel, and analytic software
• Experience with EDC systems and CTMS
• Strong collaborator with ability to lead without authority
• Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects from conceptualization through execution and delivery
• Ability to work independently and travel up to 30%
• Flexible and adaptable with high commitment and professionalism
