About This Role
We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization in their search for an experienced Windchill Application Developer to join their growing team. This is a 100% remote, full-time W2 position based anywhere in the United States.
Our client is seeking a developer with deep expertise in the PTC Windchill PLM platform who can design, develop, and support customizations, integrations, and enhancements that serve manufacturing and product-lifecycle needs. You'll collaborate with functional consultants and engineering stakeholders to deliver well-architected solutions that perform reliably in production.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement customizations on the Windchill PLM platform using the Windchill Java API
- Build and maintain workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules
- Develop integrations using Info*Engine and established Windchill integration patterns
- Create JSP/HTML client customizations to enhance user experience
- Write and optimize SQL queries against the Windchill data model
- Support Windchill upgrades and migrations
- Participate in code reviews and design reviews to maintain engineering standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and maintain thorough documentation
- Communicate technical solutions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, operations, and business teams
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate team practices
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 6+ years of PTC Windchill development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with the Windchill Java API
- Solid experience building workflows, lifecycle templates, and object initialization rules
- Working knowledge of Info*Engine and Windchill integration patterns
- Hands-on experience with JSP/HTML client customization
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with the Windchill data model
- Experience with Windchill upgrades and migrations
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- U.S. work authorization (Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, and H-1B transfer candidates welcome; new H-1B sponsorship not available)
Preferred:
- PTC Windchill certifications
- Experience with Creo, Arbortext, or related PTC products
- Exposure to Windchill RV&S (Integrity) or ThingWorx integration
- Familiarity with CAD data management workflows
- Experience operating Windchill on cloud platforms

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $105,000–$135,000 annually
