Territory Manager, Gainesville, FL

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential CPG client seeking a Territory Manager for the Gainesville, FL market. This field-based sales position focuses on building retail partnerships, managing merchandising strategies, and driving territory growth. You'll work independently to develop and execute local business plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and distribution within your assigned Gainesville territory, including hands-on merchandising
• Build and maintain relationships with retail partners, presenting promotional programs, inventory management solutions, and pricing strategies
• Execute presence, pricing, promotion, and product initiatives at retail locations
• Develop territory-specific business plans to meet sales objectives, identifying and prioritizing existing and potential retail outlets
• Provide category management consultation and business analytics insights to retail partners
• Utilize data analysis, brand marketing principles, and strategic pre-call planning to improve business performance
• Track, measure, and analyze progress against key performance metrics using available tools and systems
• Manage all account responsibilities for assigned chain and distribution headquarters accounts
• Drive up to 100 miles per day for territory coverage

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous marketing-focused experience, preferably in sales, field marketing, or B2B environments
• Proficiency with sales technologies such as Salesforce and Tableau for data analysis and insights
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years
• Reliable vehicle available for daily work use
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of meaningful field sales experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to climb and work from heights of 9 to 12 feet
• Ability to access limited and confined spaces
• Ability to visually inspect and manipulate merchandise and displays
• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch
