Senior Finance Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for their go-to-market functions. This role will partner closely with revenue-generating departments to drive strategic planning, forecasting, and resource allocation in support of ambitious growth targets.

Our talent team is seeking a finance leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights, build scalable processes, and mentor emerging talent while supporting high-impact business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive finance support for go-to-market departments and business segments, including annual planning, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and ongoing analysis
• Own P&L processes and analysis for GTM functions, including resource allocation and operating expense management
• Drive coordinated headcount and resource planning to align investment with growth targets and operational priorities
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations with clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
• Partner with teams on commission analysis, accrual, and payout processes; reconcile commission expense to plan and explain variances
• Collaborate with corporate FP&A on long-range planning models, supporting cross-functional communication on key business drivers
• Develop repeatable business, operational, and financial processes that stakeholders across the organization can understand and utilize
• Mentor a senior analyst, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects through financial modeling, detailed analysis, and strategic recommendations
• Identify and implement AI-driven process improvements across GTM Finance by pinpointing manual workflows suitable for automation

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Eight or more years of experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, GTM Finance, or Revenue Operations, ideally within high-growth SaaS environments
• Proven experience in a senior finance role with demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Expert proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel functions
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and financial planning software such as Adaptive Planning
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Superior communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance audiences
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to build effective working relationships across all organizational levels
• Prior experience in the software or technology industry is a plus
