Senior Experience Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential blockchain infrastructure organization in their search for a Senior Experience Engineer. Our client is a globally recognized leader in decentralized technology, building open-source platforms that power next-generation web applications. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Web3 infrastructure with a talented, distributed team.

This role sits within the ecosystem growth division, specifically on a research engineering team that translates complex technical needs into practical tools and user experiences. You'll report to a research lead and work at the intersection of product discovery, rapid prototyping, and production engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle feature development from problem discovery through scoping, architecture, deployment, and post-launch iteration
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.) into your workflow to maximize velocity and output quality
• Deploy MVPs quickly to gather real-world user feedback and validate assumptions before over-engineering solutions
• Partner directly with stakeholders and end users to understand pain points and translate them into functional, scalable software
• Make autonomous decisions in ambiguous situations, filling requirement gaps without waiting for exhaustive specifications
• Work cross-functionally across the organization to remove blockers and maintain a high shipping cadence
• Balance shipping speed with technical quality, avoiding both perfectionism and technical debt

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience developing and maintaining production-grade web applications, ideally with TypeScript, React, or similar modern frameworks
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and modern build pipelines
• Solid grasp of system design principles and ability to work effectively with complex, interconnected systems
• Strong product intuition, particularly around applying AI tools to solve genuine user problems rather than chasing novelty
• Self-directed approach with comfort navigating ambiguity and exercising sound judgment independently
• Track record of rapid iteration and validated learning rather than waterfall planning
• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
