Product Manager (Data) – Fluent French & English

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential energy technology client seeking a Product Manager (Data) to lead data product implementation for a major enterprise deployment. This is a hybrid role based in Paris, requiring three days per week in the office.

In this position, you will drive the successful rollout of data products for a key client implementation. Working alongside engineers, data specialists, and domain experts, you will ensure that data models and products are properly localised to meet specific client requirements.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Client Engagement: Present and explain data products and data models to enterprise clients, ensuring clear understanding of capabilities and value.
• Requirements & Roadmap: Document client requirements for data products and align them with the global product roadmap, balancing local needs with strategic priorities.
• Development Support: Refine and prioritise backlog items, collaborating with software engineers to deliver solutions that create measurable client value.
• Product Adoption: Drive successful adoption through technical documentation, release communications, and training sessions for client stakeholders.
• Cross-Domain Integration: Develop understanding of multiple product areas—including billing, customer care, and energy systems—to identify how data products unlock value across domains.
• Data Model Contribution: Serve as a key contributor to the global data model, with potential to own its extension and maintenance across client implementations.
• Metrics & Culture: Define and track the right success metrics while fostering a data-driven learning culture within the team.
• Communication: Maintain transparency and communicate effectively with both internal teams and external client audiences.

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Technical Experience: 3+ years as an agile Product Manager working on data platforms or data products.
• Rollout Experience: Proven track record supporting large-scale enterprise product rollouts, particularly localised deployments of global products.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellence in managing stakeholders across all organisational levels, with the ability to balance competing priorities and influence decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding written and visual communication abilities for both technical and commercial audiences.
• Problem Solver: Patient and tenacious approach to understanding complex domains, even with limited prior knowledge or experience.
• Collaborative Nature: Team player who embraces collaboration and knowledge sharing within and across teams.
• Language Requirement: Fluency in both French and English is essential for this role.
