Product Owner / Product Manager (H/F)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting firm specializing in product strategy and transformation. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Product Owner/Product Manager to join embedded client engagements in Paris, helping organizations mature their product practices and deliver user-centered solutions.

In this role, you will work as a consultant embedded within client product teams, bringing product culture to life while coaching stakeholders to elevate their capabilities. You'll operate at the intersection of business, technology, and design to build and continuously improve successful products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an embedded Product Owner/Manager consultant within client organizations
• Write user stories and define acceptance criteria
• Create, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs
• Identify and prioritize user and business needs
• Contribute to roadmap development and release planning with a user-centric strategy
• Define and prioritize product features by gathering user feedback and facilitating workshops with developers, business stakeholders, and domain experts
• Work with tools including Jira, Figma, and APIs
• Guide clients in improving their product management maturity and practices

What We're Looking For

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships) as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager in a product-driven environment
• Genuine interest in consulting and advisory work
• Strong grasp of backlog management, user story writing, and prioritization frameworks
• Experience contributing to roadmaps and release planning
• Proficiency with Jira, Figma, and API concepts
• Professional English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Integration of generative AI into daily workflows (prompt engineering, data analysis, documentation)
• Active monitoring of AI's impact on product management practices

• Diplomacy: Comfort saying no while defending your ideas and convictions

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process based on your experience level and the specific client engagement.
